Time for another Transcontinental race kit list. In the rare case you’ve missed the earlier they can be found at 2024, 2023, 2022, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014. Or you can just skip to this year’s album.

P7200019

Repeating myself here, but bike is the Orbea Avant with 50/34 cranks and a 13-29 cassette. SON hub dynamo in the front. Back to Open pro rims as I had trouble inflating the Schwalbe 365 tubes enough for the tires to rise up on RR 411s last year.

Carradice saddlebag, Sea-to-summit pouch, 3 Apidura food pouches, Missgrape frame bag and Topeak&Miss grape top tube bags.

P7200023

Bumm iq-x dynamo light, Lupine Piko (old one as new one is right now waterdamaged) and GoPro.

P7200022

In the rear once again Bumm Secuzed taillight/reflectors from the dynamo and Niterider Solas for blinding people. Remains the only micro-usb gadget in use with Garmin 1030 navigator as spare.

P7200024

Handlebars also identical from last year. Garmin 840 as main navigator, Sinewave revolution for charging and remotes for Piko and Garmin.

P7190001

Kit is mostly same with addition of new shoes. This time model with vents in the bottom and once again Boas. I can hopefully manage improvised repair to them on the road as it is a common Boa model and hopefully I don’t have infected ankle from new shoes like last year.

P7190006

Also repearing myself here. Pockets from left are phone, middle pouch with brevet card, passport and wallet and on the right camera (really TG 7 used to take the photo, TG 5 as place holder). In zipper pocket when not in use usually the Sony WI-C200 headset and some coins for quick coffee stops.

P7190002

Extra clothes are almost indentical to last year with a merino buff replaces to a new one. Light jacket, UV buff, leg warmers (same since every Tcr btw. only remaining piece), cut finger Sealskinz gloves, basic toe warmers and rain lobster gloves.

P7190004

Extra and spare clothes are spearately packed in the saddlebag.

P7190005

Spare clothes are once again another bibs and a pair of socks.

P7190009

Civil clothing for stops etc. again shorts and underpants.

P7190016

Emergency kit includes the mandatory bike bell, a Carradice leather strap, Lupine usb charger, Garmin 1030 and cash for Balkans. Last chance to use Bulgarian cash before they move to euro next year.

P7190017

Under the saddlebag a pouch with camping kit for easy access. a Msr e-lite bivy and some bubble wrap.

P7190018

Repair stuff is in the frame bag. Missing from the photo is a spare outer tire and spokes. Spare tubes, some Rex diamond wax, pump, spare pump hose, multitools, spare cables, a cleat, light connectors, patches and some cleaning tools

P7190010

Hygiene stuff is also in the frame bag. Missing from the photo are ear plugs. Some soap for a rare stop without it available. Some bandages and water purification. Small cans of chamois cream so I don’t need to remember the main one for hotel stops.

P7190008

In the saddlebag pocket charger, power bank and cables.

P7190012

Those are packed with mussette and sun screen on the left side.

P7190011

The right side pocket has reflective vest, packable backpack and headlight. Made some loops to the vest for the headset. When in use, the empty pouch is for Red bull cans.

P7190007

Topeak top tube bag has chamois cream, some sanitizer and toilet paper.

P7190015

Missgrape top tube pack is for food, but also for a spork and a little rag.

P7190014

Food pouches in the front have Gopro helmet adapter, camera stand and some hand cleaner.

P7190013

Also in the left food pouch there is a bunch of charging/power bank stuff needed during riding and shorts stops. Spare Lupine light batter with usb in-out adaptors, power bank, wrist watch charger (think I forgot this from the photos, a Vantage 3), micro-usb adapter and also a 4 head usb cable for charging the headlight usb-c chargeable aaa batteries.
